BBJ Ltd. seek not to glorify war but to perpetuate awareness of the enormous sacrifice made on our behalf in the name of freedom and the debt of gratitude we owe.

 

Our World War 1 and World War 2 battlefield tours are individually tailored to the needs and wishes of group members. Because our groups normally number between 5 and 7, we are able to create a relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere. Guests who accompany us on our tours come from all walks of life and span a wide range of ages and experience.

 

The days spent visiting cemeteries and memorials and exploring battle sites are long and full of interest, and the experience can be quite emotive and thought-provoking. There will be moments of sorrow, and gratitude, in realisation of the magnitude of the sacrifices made on our behalf. Although the visits have a serious purpose and are conducted with dignity and respect, we do appreciate the need to provide light relief and humour as and when the occasion demands.

 

Our expeditions are suitable for anyone interested in the Western Front and Normandy, for history students, those needing to expand their knowledge of events of that time, and those wishing to discover the sites of where their forebears fought and are commemorated.

 

For those engaged on a personal pilgrimage to trace and follow the footsteps of their forebears, we will present copies of the research information gathered.
